As President of Resilience Leadership, LLC, Dr. Michelle Rosensitto provides executives in both corporate and educational settings with the tools to grow as leaders, both personally and professionally, by focusing on three concepts: vision, strategy, and communication. She works with individual leaders to develop a focused personal and organizational vision, and then to build the strategic thinking and communication skills to infuse resilience, systems thinking, and the culture of a true learning organization in high-performance teams within their organizations. Dr. Rosensitto provides customized half-day and full-day workshops on these and other related topics.
In 2007, Dr. Rosensitto launched a small business, The Writing Coach, as a platform for providing writing consultation services to graduate students and professionals throughout Southern California. As a mother of three, she understands the importance of early training in effective communication strategies, so she also developed a series of summer writing workshops for students in grades three through twelve, which are offered by The Writing Coach to students in the Newport Beach area. An active member of the Newport Beach community, Dr. Rosensitto has served on the Board of Directors for Newport Center United Methodist Preschool from 2004 to 2007, as well as 2009 to the present.
After earning her doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University’s Graduate School of Education and Psychology (GSEP) in 1999, Dr. Michelle Rosensitto developed the GSEP Writing Support Program in her role as Director from 1999 to 2007. Since 2007, she has served as a Visiting Professor of Research Methods and Dissertation Chair in the Organizational Leadership Program at GSEP. Dr. Rosensitto’s education includes bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English literature and composition, and she enjoys teaching and publishing in the areas of leadership, ethics, research methodology, and curriculum.
